According to the Hoa Binh web portal, leaders of Hoa Binh province had a meeting with the representative of Meiko Corporation of Japan on a proposal to invest in a factory producing all kinds of electronic circuits in Da River Left-bank Industrial Zone.
At the meeting, Mr. Atsushi Sakate, Permanent Vice President of Meiko Corporation Japan said that the group is implementing a plan to build a factory to manufacture electronic circuits in the Da River Left-bank Industrial Zone, sublease land and infrastructure of Da Hop Commercial Joint Stock Company, with a total area of 9.2 ha; total investment capital is VND 4,660 billion, equivalent to $200 million. Mr. Sakate expressed that Meiko Group wishes to continue receiving support from the province to successfully implement the project.
On the side of the leadership of Hoa Binh province, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, said that the province is focusing on implementing key traffic projects such as Hoa Lac Road – Hoa Binh City expansion, regional linking roads; Hoa Binh – Moc Chau Expressway Project, promoting administrative reform and improving the business environment, foreign businesses, including Japanese ones, have successfully invested in projects in Hoa Binh.
Leaders of Hoa Binh province committed to accompanying Meiko, providing maximum support in administrative procedures, wastewater, and electricity; along with investment in transport infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for Japan’s Meiko Group and domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in the province.
