Announcing this in Ontario Monday, VinFast said this is its next step in establishing service infrastructure, ensuring the EV producer to start delivering vehicles to Canadian customers this June.
Certified Collision Care is the Canadian division of Assured Performance Network, the largest network of OEM Certified repair providers in the world. OME stands for original equipment manufacturer.
Under the partnership, Certified Collision Care will identify and certify repair centers in their network once the VinFast Certified Collision Repair program standards have been met. VinFast drivers across Canada can find their nearest certified collision repair center via the VinFast website, or via www.autobodylocator.ca.
The partnership will help VinFast expand its repair network across Canada, said Nguyen Thi Van Anh, CEO of VinFast North America.
Leanne Jefferies, who is in charge of operations and accounts, North America, Assured Performance Network, said that adding VinFast certified credentials to the Certified Collision Repair network provides EV collision repairers with an effective means to differentiate themselves in their market.
VinFast is expanding its retail and service network in the Canadian market. A total of 781 VF8 SUVs in the batch of 1,879 exported to North America left Vietnam in mid-April and are set for delivery in Canada from June.
VinFast launched its first store in Canada’s Vancouver on April 18 and joined the Montreal Electric Vehicle Show 2023 on April 21-23. The Vancouver store is VinFast’s eighth one in Canada.
